URLAND creates, experiments, acts, investigates, builds. And in the Open Studios, in our own URLAND.space, we present our experiment. It is an ode to that which is not yet finished, the rawness of the working studio. Sometimes it’s research into/with a niche technology, other times a music show, then a text recital or perhaps a full try-out – become a participant and accomplice in a performance that may or may not be made.

Starting point: … the machine is dead.. Long live the machine.
After the A.I.-generated Formerly Known As set the theater ablaze, a new movement rises from the ashes. More sensory, more alienating, more inimitable, more human than ever. Using an empty stage and a 16-speaker installation, Jimi, Marijn, and Thomas are working on a revival of human creativity. Which theatrical codes and foundations can we revise? What does technology do to the mind? Who glitches?
